Victoria Francés' childhood in the forests of Galicia and first trips to the Gothic environments of Paris and London would eventually influence the romanticism and mysticism evident in her art. While studying Fine Arts at the Faculty of San Carlos in Valencia, she made her professional debut making covers, posters and other graphic works. In 2004, when she was only 22 years old, her first volume of illustrations appeared, Favole 1: Tears of Stone, based on her memories of the cities of Venice and Verona, accompanied by texts written by herself. The work consecrates it internationally as one of the strongest in the field of illustration. Her second art book, Favole 2: Free Me, appeared in the spring of 2005.
