Did you ever wonder how Zippo got its name? Founder and inventor George G. Blaisdell was fascinated with the word, “zipper,” and decided that Zippo had a modern, unique ring to it.

This Collectible honors Mr. Blaisdell’s inspiration behind the iconic brand name we know today. Depicted on both sides of the piece, a zipper unveils a windproof lighter in a first-ever combination of our Lustre and 540 Fusion processes while the Zippo logo is revealed in shimmering brass tones of the lighter’s case. Limited to 10,000 pieces, each keepsake comes with a gold-flashed insert and consecutive numbering.
